We’re not your average wedding venue. And we’re proud of it.
Whether you're eloping on a whim, planning a small celebration with close friends or booking Elvis to sing you through your vows, we make it easy to get married your way - no pressure, no pretense and absolutely no boring ballroom vibes.
We’re located in the heart of the funky and fabulous Georgetown Trailer Park Mall, surrounded by vintage trailers, local artists and more personality than you can shake a bouquet at. Our spaces include a one-of-a-kind shipping container chapel, an open-air outdoor gazebo and even a pub crawl wedding for couples who like their vows with a side of whiskey.
Meet Bronwen
Owner, Officiant & Your Favorite Partner in Wedding Mischief
Bronwen launched Shotgun Ceremonies back in 2010 with one simple goal: to give couples a fun, easy, no-pressure way to get married without all the fuss. After nearly a decade in Pioneer Square, she brought the chapel to its perfect new home in Georgetown — Seattle’s most eclectic, art-loving neighborhood — in 2020.
She’s officiated thousands of weddings (yes, even in costume), danced down aisles, wrangled dogs-as-ring-bearers, and made sure every couple feels like they’re doing their day their way. Whether you're eloping in a hurry or planning the most laid-back wedding ever, Bronwen’s mission is the same: make it meaningful, fun and stress-free.
Her work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Evening Magazine, City Dog Magazine, KOMO News, The Seattle Times and the book 111 Places in Seattle That You Must Not Miss. She’s officiated weddings in the rain, in bar booths, on porches, in sequins, with and without Elvis and always with heart.
